CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES

We have an immediate part-time opening at our Republic location for a Sales/Customer Service/Project Manager position. We are an established screen printing and embroidery company with a fast-paced, positive working environment, and we are looking for a hard working individual to add to our team. Our employees are expected to have a great work ethic, a cooperative attitude, extreme attention to detail, an eye for quality, and a drive to get things done quickly, accurately, and efficiently!

This position would require you to do the following:

Customer Service - Friendly customer service is an absolute MUST for this position. The candidate must enjoy working with people and must be committed to making our customers feel like part of our family. We are often described as a company who "over services" our customers, so the right candidate must demonstrate a willingness to go over and beyond to make sure customer needs are met quickly and accurately, all with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude!

Managing Multiple Projects - In correlation with our company philosophy, managing our customer's projects is paramount to a good customer experience. The right candidate will be extremely organized and task oriented with constant attention to the speed and accuracy at which each customer's project moves through the workflow. This is a deadline driven industry, so Project Managers are expected to work efficiently and accurately under the pressure of these deadlines.

Communication Skills - The right candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills both in written and verbal form. Written communication includes but is not limited to composition of work orders that give directions to the production staff, art requests that give directions to our artists, and emails to customers that outline the details of their projects. Verbal communication includes but is not limited to telephone correspondence and in-person customer interactions. A solid command of written and verbal English is a must.

Computer Skills - Candidates must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products. Although we will train the right candidate how to use our industry software, keyboarding speeds of at least 60wpm with no more than 2-3 errors is required for this position. Experience with web hosting software, online order management software, and Endicia is a plus!

In addition to the above, additional duties could include some light cleaning and assisting production in an effort to meet deadlines.

Training Period - The person hired for this position will be expected to train in production for a few weeks prior to transitioning into the Project Manager's role. During that time, he or she may be asked to assist in our embroidery department, our screen printing department, as well as assist with shipping/receiving, darkroom responsibilities, and/or our reclaim department. This training period provides the foundation necessary to understanding how we provide our customers with top quality products that are delivered on time - every time! Following this training, there will be additional training at the Project Manager's desk that is more specific to the requirements of this position.

Physical Demands of the Training Period - The manufacturing training requires lifting, standing, twisting, stooping, bending, dexterity, and a moderate amount of physical labor. You must also be able to work quickly and efficiently with few errors - and under the pressure of meeting customer deadlines. DO NOT APPLY if you cannot lift at least 40-pound boxes, work on your feet for a full 8-hour shift, use your hands for sometimes intricate and difficult projects, count accurately, follow specific procedures - and do it all with a smile and a great team-player attitude!

The person hired as our Project Manager will work under the management of an immediate supervisor and the company owner, and must excel at learning quickly and plugging into the established workflow.

Required:

Customer Service Experience - Experience must include telephone, email, and in-person customer service work.

Preferred:

Commitment to Hours - This is a key position in our organization, which means required hours that must be adhered to. We can be somewhat flexible should an emergency arise, but the person hired will have great responsibility and must be depended upon to have outstanding attendance.

Experience with the embroidery, screen printing, and/or promotional product industry. This is not a must, as we will train the right person, but it is a definite plus!

High school diploma is a MUST. Associate's or Bachelor's in Business/Marketing preferred. Experience in sales is a definite plus!

Positive work history. We check references!

Compensation - This is an hourly position that will be based on a candidate's experience and education.

Other Benefits - After the 90 day probationary period, we offer holiday pay and birthday pay. After 1 year, we offer 1 week paid vacation.
